Creative Pathways, Ltd. Sounds Great!, a unique, multi-sensory letter/sound program for young children (ages 3-7), was designed by fifteen educators from the Oak Hills School District.

The core of the program consists of 34 characters and verses set to music; the student book and tape represent the core program.

Sounds Great! develops early reading skills in young children by providing them with a program which has child-like appeal, compatible with home and school usage.

Children's Theater of Cincinnati

One of Cincinnati's Best kept secrets, the Children's Theater has announced a terrific upcoming 1998-1999 season. Performances include the world premiere of "Thanksgiving Eve", "Charlotte's Web", and the fairy tale favorite "Jack and the Beanstalk" starring former Bengal Anthony Munoz. This is the fifth season under Artistic Director Jack Louiso, who will direct all three productions. Performances are at the Taft Theater downtown. Call for more information.

Cincinnati Nature Center
Three separate sites make up the Cincinnati Nature Center - Rowe Woods in Milford; Gorman Heritage Farm in Evendale; and Long Branch Farm in Goshen. Admission is free to members; non-members pay an admission charge. Call any of the following locations for more specific information.

Cincinnati Zoo

Your great Zoo always has a great set of family events like the "Halloween Happening" which includes the "Great Pumpkin Patch", hay rides and trick-or-treating. Also, the annual "Festival of Lights" runs from Nov. 21 through Jan. 3 at the Zoo with more than two million lights and many other attractions. Please call the Zoo for further information.
