After painting venetian cafe themes for the past ten years, I decided it was time to focus on the unique and unusual architecture of Venice. Narrow as the jealous eyes of Othello, the moorish architecture stands guard over the canals. I choose a romantic summer evening where the warmly lit windows would reflect and illuminate the undulating, watery surface.
