Carp Rider Album: Speaking to the Outcasts Band: Carp Rider College Rock upstarts, Carp Rider, have recently released their epic debut record, SPEAKING TO THE OUTCASTS. The brother/sister team of Matt and Samantha Carver create a dramatic, tag-team lyrical presence harking back to other famed rock duos like Ike and Tina, or the theatrical call-and-response of Meatloaf's "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" while forging a new sound that is distinctive. The group moves from heavy guitar rock to bouncing funk, complete with memorable choruses, lyrics written to be heard, and a tight rhythm section that takes party-groove to the next level.
